| Gone To Pieces Quilt Shop will be closed: Labor Day, Sept. 5th, Thanksgiving Day, November 24th, Christmas Eve Day, December 24th, Christmas Day, December 25th New Year’s Day, January 1, 2012. |
As time is quickly passing by, the holiday season is upon us, as well as the end of
the year, brings a time of reflection – things you’ve done right, things that you’ve
done wrong , decisions to make and things to get done. For the present time, I
have decided to only teach long arm classes. This allows me to continue to
machine quilt for customers and focus on shop samples.
The Bling Fling Shop hop will run from December 1st through December 10th.
Check on the events page for the details. The 2012 Block of the Month quilt
“Garden of Enchantment” is now on display and will start the week of January
9th. Super Bowl Sunday is scheduled for February 5th. “Leap into a Quilt” a
special quilt will be presented on February 29th, Leap Year. “Suds Up” Shop
Hop, formerly known as the Daffodil Spring Stroll will be here before you know it.
The 2012 Quilt Minnesota fabric has been announced. The shop hop will run
from August 3rd through August 19th.
This past year has seen the economy with many bumps and the price of fabric
taking a significant hike in price. As the year comes to an end, I would like to
thank you with Customer Appreciation Day on Saturday, December 3rd from 9: a.
m. to 4 p.m. The specials are 30% off regular prices of fabric, notions, books
patterns and kits – ½ yard minimum on fabric and 50% off Christmas fabric – ½
yard minimum. Terese Mudrick from Country Loft Quilt and Design will be in the
shop to present demos on the Statler Stitcher from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and a
pre-ownership meeting at 1:00 p.m. Gammill is offering free zippers and caster
with the purchase of a new machine. If you are thinking about purchasing a long
arm for business or pleasure, you are welcome to come in and test drive a
machine on that day.

could not be reached. May the Winter season fill you with many smiles, lots of
laughter, memory making times and good health.
